In our contemporary society, houses are essential for survival. They protect you from the elements, keep you warm and provides a place to rest. But they come in all shapes and sizes. And there are also various payment options to choose from. Many of us are provided with a house from the birth, but the time comes when you have to move out and make very important decisions, to create a place to call home. So, what type of houses exist and which option you should choose? A variety of houses in our world is a result of adaptation to the surroundings. These surroundings include local climate and resources available for settlers. Owning a house is widely accepted as a great investment and pride. But renting a house has as much benefit as buying it. Firstly, People who rent a house have more flexibility. They have the ability to change their living place for a better career more often. That means moving to a new town or even a new country becomes less stressful and hard. Second of all, a lot of money in your own house go for repairs and maintenance. In an apartment, your landlord is almost always responsible for the plumbing, electrical problems, and similar things. That way, the price of maintenance almost disappears. Lastly, many people overestimate their possibility of owning a house. Paying by installments can seem like a great idea, and it sometimes is, but a decrease of family income can quickly change it. That way, loss of a job could get even more stressful and sometimes even ruin the family or relationship. Renting a house is not for all, but it should be a thing to consider when planning your own future. Choosing your own house might cost you a little time, but with the help of others, you can make the best-suited decision. In my opinion, renting a flat is more practical, at least for young people who still studies and can‘t be sure what kind of future is ahead. I still don‘t see houses as the biggest concern, as long as it lets you live safely and comfortably.
