In the Philippines, we follow a democratic type of political system where the leaders are appointed by qualified citizens of our country. This allows the qualified citizens of the country the chance to nominate leaders and also be involved with regards to the leaders who they think can help the country grow. The strengths that a democratic political system has is by fortifying the interest of the Filipino citizens; it exposes and gives the citizens the chance to vote for their countries leaders that they think and believe would help the growth and development of the country(Ferguson, Young, et. We Filipinos as citizens of our country must practice the voting rights given to us! We must give our opinions on who of the representatives will help and make a change in our country. Whether you are in the middle class or low class we should practice the right to vote for this is for the betterment for our country. How are we going to be par with other countries if the educated people do not vote for their own country? And this is what our country is facing. A huge percent of people who vote during elections are people from low class and only a lesser percentage vote in the middle class. We must go hand in hand with one another and help our country grow. In an Authoritarian political system this is ruled by an individual. The strengths that the Authoritarian political system is the role of dictatorship. This enables the individual to dictate to the people of his/her country what he/she would want to do for the betterment of the country. Having an authoritarian political system makes it less complicated than a democratic political system because of the people involved.
