So, is it possible to learn lucid dreaming? Yes, it is. May lucid dreaming have an effect on your daily life? Maybe, it depends on different factors. Let me elaborate this.
I personally think it is very well possible to learn lucid dreaming with the appropriate attitude. You cannot try it for a week and give up because it did not work out on the first few tries. It is highly likely that learning how to dream lucid will take up more time for one person and less for the other, it is individual and you cannot say: “Everybody can learn lucid dreaming in just a month!” As mentioned above, the first method did not work out for me even after a long time of trying. I think it is due to the fact that the reality checks became too familiar and I just

In comparison to the first method, only after a short period of time, I was able to dream lucid to a certain degree. By that, I mean realizing that you are actually in control of your actions in a dream but you are still somehow restricted in what you do. It took a bit of practice to enjoy lucid dreaming to its full extent with flying around, meeting people who appear out of thin air, you name it. I suppose that the second method will not suit everybody because you may not want to wake up every night at 4:00 just to see yourself fail and not be able to dream lucid. I have to say that once you actually are able to dream lucid, you will not have to wake yourself up every night because you get used to the feeling of lucid dreaming and it is enough to tell yourself: “I want to dream lucid this night”, before going to bed. But even with that, I did not have several or even one lucid dream every night. There were still nights where I did not remember my dreams at all or just dreamt normally. I also think that too much lucid dreaming will not do any good since it is such a great feeling. This can lead to a lack of motivation in real life because certain aspects may seem dull in comparison to your vivid lucid dreams. They occasionally also appear tiring when you just want to sleep but now you are “fully awake” in your dream but do not know what to do but you are also not able to get out of your dream. I think lucid dreaming can help you get better, or even ease a learning process but only in certain areas. I will take sport as an example, but every action which contains physical movement of the body can be chosen. With lucid dreaming, you have the possibility to test everything you want without risking anything. The worst thing that can happen is that you wake up. This prerequisite allows you to train something you are already familiar with, like a certain longboard trick or even learn something totally new which you saw on television or on the internet but never had the courage to try it out because it may be dangerous, expensive or you just had no time to do it. I had the experience that things are easier to learn outside of a dream after you practiced it in your dream world. Failure is almost nonexistent and you can perform everything perfectly like you saw it. I suppose this allows your brain to memorize certain motion sequences which you will still remember after waking up and trying in real
