A healthy lifestyle is a living choice which maximize the state of wellness and decrease the risk of illness and premature death. Definitions from World Health Organization’s (WHO), health are a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. Meanwhile wellness is an active process of becoming aware of and making choices toward a more successful existence. We live in an ever changing world, where technology make a vast advancement throughout centuries, however the health issue among Malaysian adults have not seen positive change. The elaborations of this paper will merely focus on three challenges in managing healthy lifestyle and three ways to reduce the problems due to the challenges.

We rarely work out sweats during working hours and when we do have time to exercise at home, there is no facilities such as parks or gym. People often find lack in motivation to exercise if they drive a mile away just to go to gym and pay to exercise. Without a safe place dedicated to exercise, we do not know where to start and sometimes may fear that we will injure ourselves during the process.
This is the hardest challenge in managing healthy lifestyle. Even though a person try to manage a healthy lifestyle by eating healthily and exercise regularly, there are chances that he/she might inherit common disorders from family such as diabetes, high blood pressure and heart diseases. People who have bad family medical tree may find it harder to manage healthy lifestyle because if they are not careful in their food intake they are bound to inherit the diseases that their ancestors or relatives
