High School JROTC Instructors are retired Officers and Noncommissioned Officers carrying decades of military experience, whose responsibility is to teach students character education, student achievement, wellness, leadership, and diversity. In order to become a JROTC instructor, the following questions must be addressed. What prerequisites are there to become an instructor, what additional training is required, what education institutions provides the training, and what is the hiring process? My research to answering these questions will focus on internet searches, governing agency of the JROTC program, and by leveraging local high school JROTC instructors for information. During Dorsch employment, I have noticed great potentials in my colleague; I convinced him to switch jobs from a drafting person to a civil engineer, by presenting the textbooks and resources needed, guiding him along the transition phase and by presenting, through examples, how easily could be the learning process and transition. Along my career, I lead my colleagues to produce integrated solutions, by creating the urge to know the answers of different what-if scenarios for their solutions; I bring textbooks and tools to convince them; I present examples of what should be done, the benefits of efforts done and the consequences of careless isolated solutions. Not only one colleague now is persuading her dreams by studying post graduate in Netherlands, but also she got an award to be distinguished;

I believe that leading means both leading by example and having the ability to help others become their best. In this case, it is music and marching band. A good leader in band should have the ability to keep their peers focused on becoming better marchers and musicians. I think that leading means to give someone a positive example (their attitude towards something, how they handle criticism, how they behave, etc.). A good Drum Major should not tell people how they need to act, but show them how they need to act.
In the past I spent time in the US Air Force as an aircraft maintenance technician. This position allowed me to see not only various areas in the United States but also other countries. Time spent overseas immersed in other cultures has enhanced my world view. In addition, I have gained a great deal of leadership experience from the military. From serving as an Airman Leader to holding multiple leadership positions in the Air Force Reserve Officer’s Training Corps, I have ultimately gained a better understanding of what goes into leading and what truly makes a great leader.

Although I have no idea what is going to happen when I am an officer in the US Air Force, I can imagine common scenarios that are challenging. It is important to use the leadership skills I have developed and studied to improve performance, morale, and mission readiness. In this scenario, I am a first Lieutenant, a communications officer, at Warner Robins AFB. I am in charge of the Combat Challenge, which is a competition between communication units.
Can you lead by example? Leading by example is a reality, many leaders use it today. In fact, it is an important trait for leaders today. Club leaders lead by example. Sports coaches and athletes lead their players and teammates by example.
In the next three to five years, to reach my goal of becoming a transformational leader, I will begin by identifying my subordinates, peers, and supervisor’s strengths, weaknesses, and team roles. By identifying these traits, and accessing each team role a member fulfills, it willimprove work center productivity. This will be integral in developing Airmen, another concept I identified as valuable. To apply the concept of “developing Airmen” I must recognize the traits that are currently present, use those traits where applicable, and diagnose the developmental needs of my subordinates, peers, and leadership, all of which will establish what their appropriate team role is. Another valuable concept that is necessary to become a transformational leader is displaying the core values.
Carrying out leadership skills that uphold the standards is also being a good advocate. Finally, leadership is a full-time responsibility in which we must continue to Listen, Learn, and Lead. 2. The Chiefs I have served with are the names of shipmates I find
Leading is something that I feel is required in a personality to help not only yourself, but others to achieve and make good in the world that we live in is a big factor in being a protagonist. Protagonist are natural born leaders at their best and weakest moments that are full of passion and charisma. Protagonist take a great deal of pride and joy in guiding others to problem solve and work together to improve themselves and their community. Protagonist tend to stand up for people in their lives and the ideas they believe in. Although many positives some negative that they can present are that they can become too involved in other people's problems or place too much trust in someone's hands.
Throughout my Air Force career, I have taken advantage of many opportunities to reflect on my personal development. I have had to take a step back and evaluate myself many times. This self-evaluation has surfaced when I promoted to higher rank, was put into greater supervisory positions and always when I moved to different work centers. I do this because I want to learn from my mistakes and create a successful career path so that I can say I did everything in my power to make the Air Force better. My first supervisor always told me, “Leave something better than when you found it.”
To be a successful leader I also agree that one needs to have certain characteristic and skills. A leader needs to be able to simple lead, as you have stated. They need to direct and guide people to fulfill shared goals. Communication is also another huge skill. A leader needs to be able to clearly communicate, build relationships, motivate others, inspire others, and be a role model to create a positive work environment and culture that will accept change and innovation in the company.
