Air Masses
Air masses are very large bodies of air that have a similar temperature and humidity. They move through the atmosphere as a unit.
A front is where two air masses meet. These two air masses have different densities and do not mix easily.
There are 4 types of air masses, there is the maritime tropical, continental tropical, maritime polar, and continental polar. . Maritime tropical air masses form over the Pacific and Atlantic ocean also over the gulf of Mexico. In the summer they bring hot and humid weather and in the winter they bring heavy rain or snow. Continental tropical air masses are formed in the southwest and northern Mexico and bring hot and dry climate. Maritime polar air masses form over the North Pacific and north

Water Cycle
Draw a diagram of the water cycle OR print one out from the internet.
The water cycle is a cycle because once the last step ends it repeats the first. It 's a repetitive set of actions.
Tools of Meteorology
Pick 3 tools of meteorology and explain what they do. Include the name of the tool, what it measures and the units. TOTALLY Awesome if you do 4 tools!
A barometer measures atmospheric pressure.Barometers measure atmospheric pressure at different bars or atmosphere. An atmosphere is a unit of measurement that is equal to the average air pressure at sea level at 59 degrees Fahrenheit.
A hygrometer measures humidity of the air. Most hygrometers show their information in the amount of water in a given volume of air, which makes the units milliliters per cubic centimeter. Some hygrometers measure relative humidity, which is expressed as a percentage with no units.
Some tools include: barometer, hygrometer, rain gauge, anemometer, sling psychrometer, and thermometer
How Clouds Form
Include the conditions needed for water vapor to condense. It would be helpful to do a little visual and a sentence or two OR you can write a paragraph about it. See you notes for the
