In one’s own thought process, and writing, there will always be an underlying rhetorical strategy that drives the argument of the composer. Whether it be the way the author speaks about a subject or shies away from other arguments of the topic, a writer always has a purpose in their methods in order to communicate their idea effectively. This is only a natural human trait that occurs into almost anything one does while addressing an audience. In my case, I will be reflecting and analyzing my own assignment three essay entitled, The Solution to Homelessness: A Joint Responsibility, which speaks upon the problematic manner in which society talks about homelessness. In this essay, I use my own rhetoric to persuade my audience that the answer to ending homelessness is their participation in solving the problem as well as I use my writing to inspire my reader to become involved in order to resolve the issue.
The article “The State of Homelessness in America” provides
As time goes on, the rate of homelessness rises as the population rises. Homelessness then was mostly caused by a family’s history of being homeless, drug abuse, mental disorders, and tyrannical leaders forcing his people into poverty. The social issue that I picked is homelessness. Homelessness is a real issue, even if we don’t always see it. Homelessness doesn’t just mean you don’t have a roof over your head, it means you don’t have food, a good education, a healthy lifestyle, or a warm place to sleep every night. Some people don’t think very highly about homeless people, they think that it's their fault that they are where they are in life. Homelessness is going to end up becoming a bigger problem.

I am writing to you in hopes that we could make a change in the world to remove homeless off the street and find a second chance for them to better themselves into a new life. I believe that everybody deserves a second chance, but are not given this opportunity because their lives have been already in a hole and they can't get out of it within everybody on the streets the lost people who need our help and need us to take action in their next step for them so I ask you to help me create a program that can home these homeless and find them a job so that we could keep them going . I understand that helping all the homeless in the world will be hard I mean there are at least 564,708 and growing so, I believe that we set up a program like a van that goes through cities and helps them get clean clothing and take them our facility give them a opportunity to find

Lowering the Drinking Age to 18 In America, a common argument among people is whether or not the drinking age should be lowered from 21, the current drinking age, to 18. When a person turns 18, they are considered an adult. Many opportunities open up to them which is a reason why a person should be able to drink at the age of 18. Lowering the drinking age from 21 to 18 would lower the amount of underage drinking that takes place, it would lower the urge of someone wanting to have their first drink at 21, and being an adult should make allow a person to be able to consume alcohol.
Homelessness is a complex social issue with a variety of economic and social factors such as poverty, lack of affordable housing, physical and mental health, addictions, and community/family breakdowns. Homelessness has increased its number by at least a 1% since last year, reached nearly 554,000 people who are living in harsh conditions. With the “City wide bans on camping in public have increased [along with the]… city wide bans on sleeping in public…, sitting or lying down in particular places… [and,] bands on sleeping in vehicles have [all] increased”(Wiltz).

Homelessness is a struggle that most people don’t know, or that people ignore because they frown on homeless people. People should not just give the homeless the silent treatment and keep on walking like nothing is wrong. In order for the homeless problem to stop, we “the people” must make it end by helping the less fortunate get to shelters or to some other source of help. The major problems of homelessness
