The female black widow eats her male counterpart after mating and Lavinia Fisher is her own version of the infamous black widow spider. Legend has it she is the first female serial killer in history; her and her husband both locked away in the crummy, dark old city jail located right here in Charleston. Some believe she was convicted of murder but her execution was necessary. The notorious case of Lavinia Fisher, and the rundown jail where her spirit is said to still reside, interest me because of its deep seeded mystery and its effect on Charlestonians and tourist alike.
For over 40 years the life and times of the Australian Bushranger, Ben Hall has held my imagination. My first introduction to the name Ben Hall came about by my father when on a long drive from our home in Queensland to our former Victorian home following my fathers service in Viet Nam, and our first opportunity as a family to visit my grandmothers and the wider family of Uncles, Auntys and Cousins, and to recover my sister who was holidaying at the family 's holiday home at Phillip Island. As for anyone who has taken the long road anywhere, a car ride of such distance could be tiresome, not with my father, who had a great interest in the early history of Australia and as well as a wider interest in world history. (something I have inherited) He was a collector of weapons from the earliest periods relating to our country and those which flooded the colony during the great gold rushes of the 1850 's - 1860 's, the Colts Revolvers, Lee Enfield Rifles, The Brown
The death of a loved one or a family member can be very traumatic for a family. More often than not, the family of the loved one who passed is left distraught, confused as to why this happened. This confusion, like the confusion Mattie Ross goes through in True Grit by Charles Portis when her father is murdered, leads to revenge and violence. This revenge and violence, even though it is bad, is seen as valid by the person avenging the death of their loved one. It’s seen as giving an eye for an eye.
There are many famous phrases out in the world, but the one that people tend to use the most is “An eye for an eye”. Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein, analyzes the role of punishment and forgiveness in society. This novel makes the people apply the lessons of writing to our own particular moral convictions with respect to the part of punishment and forgiveness in the justice system. Through the actions of Victor Frankenstein's creature, and their society, the novel explores the complexity of ethically and legally attaining justice and its circumstances. The monster does not say that he is justified in killing Victor’s loved ones, but his categorizing his murders as some type of getting Victor back in some way.

The Great White Shark The Great White Sharks, known mostly because of their white underbellies, are one of the most powerful aquatic animals in the world. They can swim at about 25 Miles Per Hour (40 Kilometers per hour) because of their strong muscles and forceful tails. In addition to that, male Great Whites can grow around 11.5 to 13.1 feet long, while females can grow from 14.8 to 16.4 feet long. An Eye for an Eye ¨An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind.¨ The speaker of this quote, Mahatma Gandhi, was trying to express how evil revenge can be. When someone feels as if they have been wronged, they will stop at nothing to get their way and prove they’re not someone to mess with. The situation can only get worse because everyone has been blinded by their hatred. Actions can irritate someone even if they weren’t intended to.
