Who is Alexander Hamilton? He is a founding father who isn’t really in your average history book. He isn’t even from our country yet he still didn’t care. The major parts of his life were his childhood, the revolution, and then what happened after the war. Hamilton’s childhood played a big part in his life. Alexander Hamilton was from the Caribbean Islands. He was very poor and lived in a small house in a small community where they had a landlord who owned all of those properties. When he was ten his mother left his father and took him but, she told him that his father left them (he believed it because his father was the one who moved out not them). He got married to Eliza Schuyler while his unit was still in town she then became pregnant with his child and didn’t tell him. The Battle of Monument then happened after almost losing (because of Charles Lee) Lee let most of his soldiers die then Laurens challenged him to a duel with Alexander as Laurens second and Burr was Lee’s second in this duel Lee lost (meaning he died) after that Washington sent Alexander home. When he got home he found out Eliza was two months pregnant after a month Washington realized that they needed Alexander's skills so he offered Alexander the position of General of his own battalion because Washington knew that was something Alexander had always wanted so Alexander went and there they all were in the final battle the Battle of Yorktown where they won independence for America.
