Being responsible is key to having a healthy lifestyle. In this book club, the members have to be responsible. People who I consider responsible are people who are on time, take good care of their things, and don't waste people's time. This trait of responsibility is needed for people to be their personal best in life. In “All Summer in a Day,” William bullies Margo because of how she remembers the sun and more. William was a child who loved the attention. He was not a responsible child, and this led him to bullying. The article “11 Facts About Bullying” says approximately 16,000 kids skip school because of bullying. William decided to hurt Margo and shoved her in the closet. “They heard her muffled cries. Then, smiling, they turned and went out and back down the tunnel, just as the teacher arrived.” This shows that even if you didn't do the bullying and just saw it happen you're still part of the problem because you sat there and did nothing that's irresponsible. Responsibility is a big part of mutuality that's why for the book club the main topic is responsibility. (11 Facts About Bullying) should be used in the book club because it uses informational facts about bullying and has different aspects of bullying. This is evident when the author writes “Labeling an incident as bullying can be important because it influences whether students tell an adult, as well as how adults respond to the student’s report.” Kids who tell adults are responsible. In “11 Facts About Bullying” the author talks about how “160,000 teens skip school” due to bullying. Even Though kids are getting bullied the kids aren't being responsible because not going to school won't help with your problems and the bully could continue to bully even if you don't go to
