There were a lot of similarities and differences between the short story version of All Summer in a Day written by Ray Bradbury and the movie version directed by Ed Kaplan. But I think the movie version was better because it showed more things in it than the short story did. For example in the short story they did not mention the sun lamps but in the movie they started out with the children in the sun lamps. But I think the biggest differences between the story and movie was in the plot events and the resolution. There were a ton of similarities and difference in these parts. The plot events were fairly similar but there was some key differences between the short story and the movie. For example when Margot was locked in the closet in the story she never saw the light of the sun but in the movie she saw the light of the sun.
