Allegorical symbolism is portrayed in many ways in The Chronicles Of Narnia. From Aslan the lion to Mr. and Mrs. Beaver, each character and element in the book resembles something in the bible. For example, Peter, the eldest of the four children resembles the Apostle Peter. Both individuals show great courage, and they also became leaders after their kings sacrificed themselves. The author, C.S. Lewis, combined his childhood love of fantasy and his Christian faith to relay the story of Jesus Christ to children. By doing so, Lewis ultimately created a story that people of all ages came to know, symbolizing what formed the religion Christianity in a unique way.
