The book "Death Wind" by William Bell tells the story about the girl who ran away because her parents would argue about everything. It was a late night and Allie 'The runaway girl' was with Razz a close-friend of hers who was a pro skateboarder, the competition had just come to an end that evening and Razz was going to an indoor party to the end of the skateboard competition Allie of course agreed as there was nothing else for her to do at Razz's van. While they spent some time dancing to intensively loud music Razz brings up that he needs to make some calls to his sponsors about the competition and so he goes over to the phone while Allie takes a break from dancing. Similarly, she doesn't know what her parents are up to or how they feel about her running away. Then out of nowhere comes slammer and his buddies they take Allie outside in a back-alley to teach her a lesson she'll never forget, and then right behind them comes Razz to the rescue. Razz gets Allie out of Slammers arms and they start a fight, but during this fight Razz isn't even throwing punches, he's just dodging Slammers and manages to take him down in no sweat he tells them to leave her alone and to never bother her anymore. Later on, Allie asks why Slammer is doing this to him and her, Razz says that he has won all the championchip skateboard competitions and gets way more sponsors then Slammer and he beats him every game. If Slammer did win he'd get all his sponsors and twice the money, then she asks why he didn't properly fight instead of dodging the punches and he responds with he just doesn't like the fighting it gets people nowhere and it doesn't help
