The American flag is a work of beauty, and meaning. It has withstood the test of time, and will live on till the end. There are people that would like to make it a symbol. A symbol of protest, and a symbol of freedom. The American flag is just a object. When do objects get more rights than people?. My plan is to enforce the right to desecrate the flag. The Government's job is not to take away freedom, its job is to give freedom. If it doesn't hurt anyone, anything, and is not stealing from anyone, they have no right to restrict our freedom. The freedom of speech is the main right that supports, the right to burn, or destroy the flag. If the government restricts you from burning the flag, what else can they get away with?
