WW2 During the World War II, there were many casualties and victims. Many people wounded and died in order to save their countries from Germany, Russia, and Japan. Eventually the Russian sided against the Germany and Japan, it was still tough war. The war ended up by America and allies’ victory. There were two keys that led America and allies to the victory which were Japanese war code, and American soldiers’ initiative play at the battle of Omaha beach. First, one main key to the allied victory during World War II was breaking the code of Japan. This was significant because it allowed allies to know Japan’s tactic on the war, and prepare for counter-attack. As a result, America could kept the secret, but there were too many casualties by the war at Pearl Harbor. 2,403 of Americans were killed, and more than 1178 people were injured. Also, 21 ships that were sunk down or damaged (Danzer 554-557). The next battles happened at Midway. This time, Japan concentrated all of their forces into the Midway in order to conquer the Hawaii, and the Pacific Ocean. They called Midway as a code name ‘AF’. Soon, America realized that code name ‘AF’ refers to Midway, and prepared war at the Midway(Vengeance at Midway-USS Enterprise). In military wise, Japan had overwhelming power. Japan had 4 carriers, while America had 3. However, the consequences of the were was Japan’s lost. Japan lost all carriers, while America only lost one.
