A devastating time for all the countries involved, World War II lasted from September 1, 1939 –May 8, 1945. By the end of World War II over 60 million people out of approximate world’s population of 2.3 billion were killed in the war. Out of these 60 million killed 10% were Jew. Germany was under the leadership of Adolf Hitler,under the leadership of Hitler he managed to put millions people into concentration camps. Germany’s economy after World War 1 was terrible and people were poor and unemployed. Also, Germany had to give up their land and were banned from having armed forces.
