Could you ever imagine living your daily life with having any control of yourself? American Revolution happened during in 1775-1783. Also taking place in the Northern 13 colonies colonies. There was tension between Great Britain which caused the American Revolution. What are the political, economic, and social factors that impacted the free slaves and slaves from colonial period through reconstruction. These impacting factors on african americans lives during the colonial era through reconstruction. Slaves were socially impacted by everyone as none equal to everyone else. Other freed slaves were treated the same way but able to get a job for money. “Here we tied our hands to carry us as far as they could” (Doc A). This shows slaves were not treated fairly. “Consequently, the epical rights and immunities guaranteed citizens do not apply to them. And not being”citizens” (Doc C). “Whenever any form of government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to the altar or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its power in such form” (Doc B). This piece of evidence shows that any government that goes against your rights then you have the right to go against their laws. “That any person escaping into the same, from whom labor or service is lawfully claimed in any one of the original States, such fugitive may be lawfully reclaimed and conveyed to the person claiming his or her labor or service as aforesaid” (Doc G). This document shows that any runaway slave that is found they must be taken back to there state. Therefore these are the impacting factors politically on former slaves
