America's Test Kitchen, a Culinary media company has accused its founder and former TV host Christopher Kimball of stealing trade secrets to start his new cooking media company Christopher Kimball’s Milk Street. Kimball started and hosted the “America's Test Kitchen” TV show on PBS for 15 years. He left the company this year after the two sides couldn't agree on a contract. He started his new venture which operates a cooking school, TV and publishes a magazine. The Lawsuit states that in Kimball's final year, he used its resources, proprietary information and employees to launch his new company, it said. America's Test Kitchen is seeking financial damages and would like to prevent the use of information (e-mail addresses, lists, and recipes).
