Chris sank into his bed after a tiring day in school. He had quickly finished his homework and now proceeded in reading his book. Chris was assigned a horror book from school, although he never really preferred horror books. The title read: The creature that never existed. He was currently reading a book about a gruesome beast who hunted people at night. This beast ate human flesh as it’s meal and nothing else. The special thing about this beast was that it had an ability to make people lose their mind from hallucinating, thus it was named The creature that never existed.

Chris slowly turned his head to analyze the quickest escape route, on his left was a river that seemed deep and long, and on the right was a vacant street; this seemed to be the best option. As quick as he could, Chris made a dash towards the street.

Chris continued walking and kept an eye out for the beast. How was he going to get home? Is there a portal or

It’s retracted claws now reappeared. The beast stood up and launched for the kill. Chris turned around . Chris felt a sharp pierce in his back. Then, once again, the world became black.
Chris woke up with a start. His face was sweaty and pale. He was back on the couch with his book in his hands. Chris breathed a sigh of relief after realizing that it was all dream and he was safe. He promised himself that he would never read another horror book in his life.
The time was now 6:45, so Chris had been asleep for 1 hour. Chris then sat on the couch and wanted to play video games so his mind could have some rest. While Chris was playing videos games, he kept seeing the beast on the screen. His mind just wouldn’t accept the fact that the whole thing was a dream. Chris had recently learned what hallucinating was in school. He had learned that your mind starts seeing things that aren’t there when it gets very scared. He wondered if he was hallucinating.
He washed his face in the bathroom and drank a glass of water to cool his overheated system down. As he was drinking water, he noticed something outside. He couldn’t see it clearly, as it had zipped through the yard so
