The victim slept peacefully, he had no idea what was about to happen. A figure crept into the house, dripping blood reflected light over his dark silhouette. The creature was enveloped in rage and the intent to kill was seen in its eyes. Its feet made next to no noise as it made its way towards the room of the resting man. The figure froze, he heard something, not the mans peaceful breathing, but something else, like something scuttling across the wooden floorboards. Another creature of the night crept from under the man's bed, and greeted the bloodied figure with a snarl, itś face distorted in anger. Dried blood hung onto it´s gaunt frame, as it stood up to its full height. The sleeping man stirred, catching the attention of both creatures as they tried to conceal the little noise they were making. The human-looking figure with peeled skin blocked the door and grabbed the man's neck. The man noticed his predator had peeling skin and blood all over his body, thus making it a very gruesome and terrifying sight. The man struggled with all his might, blood seeping from the newly acquired claw marks. The other creature grabbed the man from his hold and threw him against the wall, effectively knocking him unconscious. With the reflexes of a wild cat, the seemingly human being stepped forward and threw a vicious punch at the disfigured creature. The punch connected with pristine accuracy but seemed to have no effect on the creature. The man stirred for a moment, reminding the two monsters of their intentions when they had come to this house. The bloody figures lunged for the unconscious man both ripping into his flesh. That's when he woke up. The victim jolted with pain, eyes wide open, as he witnessed his own demise.
