Perseus was a an example of what we call a Greek Hero. Perseus was the son of Zeus and Danae. His power was death and being able to control the weather. Perseus was a guy who had a lot of problem over time. But at the end he overcomes his problems. For him overcoming his problem and having the power of the weather and control of death is a very strong power and the greek wanted the characteristic he had. So as you can tell the greeks wanted the hero to have a strength the everyone else didn’t have.
