1) My favorite poem on the list was “Nothing Gold Can Stay” by Robert Frost. Firstly, I am a fan of Robert Frost’s poems, so I was excited to read one that I had not before. My favorite thing about this poem in particular is Frost’s skill in balancing literal explanation with descriptive imagery. He uses both straightforward details and literary devices to capture the reader’s attention. His meaning is not buried beneath layers of symbolism and metaphors, but Frost still includes descriptive devices to add zest to the poem.
