Religious Persecution Religious persecution is the mistreatment of a person or a group of people based on religion. You might not think this happens today, but it does. You might even commit it if you put someone down for being apart of a religion. Although what you do might not be as bad as what others experience. In the following paragraphs I will be explaining how Hindus and Christians are being treated and why the pilgrims left England in 1620. People don’t just kill others for fun, they need a reason for hating a certain person or group of people. In some of these countries the government will encourage the looting of Christian stores. As well as lotting, they will also let mobs of violence against Christians go on. Not only are they being killed but they can be sent to prison just for owning a bible. Consequently, many Christians have to leave their home to find somewhere else to live, this transition can be very hard and might make a normal, happy, family poor or homeless.That is why conditions for Christians can be so bad in some countries. That is why and how just two religious groups have been persecuted. Just imagine what other religions are going through. Just imagine being at home and then police burst through your door and arrest you just because you had a Bible that you rarely used.
