The book wonder is about a kid with facial deformities named August Pullman who is moving into a new school Beecher’s prep to be exact.He likes his new school so far and has four friends one is named Jack or Jack Will, a boy at school whom Mr. Tushman asks to reach out and be friends with Auggie. Jack is cautious to the idea at first, but eventually does become Auggie's friend; he appears to ruin this friendship though, by insulting Auggie when he thinks that Auggie is not around to hear. Eventually the two patch up their relationship and Jack does becomes a true, honest friend to Auggie.
