“Pursue some path,however narrow and crooked,in which you can walk with love and reverence” by Henry David Thoreau confesses that it’s the hardest path that test us. In the hardest time we seek love and support from family and friends. Narrow or in other words thin makes us feel trapped.We feel trapped or obliged to make a decision some are against. The challenges we confront shapes us into the person we are becoming. A primary example of my crooked and narrow path is upon my decision to travel alone to California.In my perspective it was a lighthearted summer trip. On the other hand my mom didn’t understand.
Traveling to California was my getaway from school to enjoy my summer. However, my mom didn 't want me traveling alone especially on airplane. She was afraid of many multiple things. I took the choice to go to California despite my parent’s approval. However, no matter the choice, I would’ve taken the choice that the universe had already written my my path. Whether I decided to go or not, the track was laid for me. The quote is telling us that our path is written all we have to do is take the first step towards it. Time will pass by along with us but our destiny is there. The universe has its way to put us in the situation that will lead us to our “track”.
Going to California was a journey that I decided to take despite my mom being against it.
