1. What company do you work for? I work for J. B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc. 2. What is your overall opinion of the book? My overall opinion of the book is this book is fair book to read. There were positive and negative aspects of this book. For the negative aspect that I do not like about this book is how the author brought discuss about the historical event along with the strategy that he wanted to discuss. Rumelt explained that, “when each managed somewhat separately, the system can get stuck in a low-effectiveness state. The problem arises because of quality matching. That is, if you are in charge of one link of the chain, there is no point in investing resources in making your link better if other link managers are not” (Good Strategy, Bad Strategy, 117).
