I feel like this quote is pretty self explanatory, this quote talks about how it's very hard to not share the memories of the human race. This quote proteins to the story because the giver gives memories of the past to Jonas. I think Jonas and Gabe died and here is my reason why, when Jonas was starting out receiving the memories he didn’t like it mainly because it sucked, so Jonas went mad over the way his community treated the people that lived there, so the giver and Jonas made a plan and executed the plan but as Jonas is out on his own with Gabe in the freezing cold, as he slowly climbs the frozen hill he dies from hypothermia. …show more content…

If we look back on the end of Ch,22 and Ch 23 we can clearly see that Jonas and gabe are slowly dying from lack of food, water and warm clothes. The thing about the human body is that you absolutely need food and water to survive along with a place to get away from bad weather. Jonas and Gabe had barely any food or water plus they had absolutely no shelter. Not only did they have very little food and water plus no shelter bye the end of the last chapter Jonas and Gabe were black on food and water plus no shelter to protect them from the cold all these added together is 100% chance of
