All women deserve a life with the opportunity to be educated, to work, to be healthy and to participate in all aspects of public life. Yet in every country in the world, women and girls have lived with major violations of their human rights. The worst part is they can't fight back, or say anything concerning the situation they were in. All of the decision would have to be done by their husband, If not, then they couldn’t do what they wanted. Women shouldn't be told what and what not to do. They are not slaves to be following rules or demands from someone else.

There was also interest groups that over time wanted to help end discrimination towards women. For example, ACLU that started in 1972. The ACLU stands for American Civil Liberties Union. (www.aclu.org) Even after the struggle for gender equality, women still faced violence, discrimination and barriers to a certain participation in their society and many other things. The ACLU women’s right project pushed and encouraged others to change the reform against women’s. They focused on the areas of employment, and they emphasize policies that don’t allow women to work if pregnant. The ACLU helps these women to have the ability to have a saying in these situations. A hard working women will work as much to get what she wants. These Interested groups helped them believe in themselves that it’s not just women that see what they are going through, but other optimistic believers as well.

If these strong women and organizations wouldn’t of tried and changed the rights of a women many of us women wouldn’t have a job or any rights anywhere. Women’s right impacted the world by making it much better and allowing them to express themselves as well. Now a woman can do much more than before and that’s something that took up a lot of time but it was all worth it. A woman has rights now, which slowly progressed, and became part of things we never thought a women could
