I am pleasantly surprised with this chapter book. The point of view is of a younger boy who has a lot of behavioral problems. Although he has good intentions he finds him self swallowing keys, cutting off peoples noses and jumping into hay bails on field trips. After being sent to a special education school for 6 weeks his life starts to turn around. He has never had a stable home life until his alcoholic mother decides to care for him again. With the patience of a lot of teachers and his favorite school nurse he is able to take better control of his problems.
