Can you believe…the Harlem Renaissance Movement spread through the United states and reached as far as paris? The poem ¨storm ending¨ written by Jean Toomer was about a storm and nature. The poem “for a poet” by countee cullen is about someone saving their goals and dreams to later achieve them. The poem called “The sculptor” by nikki grimes is about dreams being earned or worked for and they don't just magically come true. All of these poems show collaboration with the Harlem renaissance because all of these show pride in African-American cultures. Furthermore the text in the poem “storm ending” by Jean Toomer said “that stretching clappers to strike our ears” then later on in the poem it says “dripping rain like golden honey - and the sweet earth flying from thunder”. This showed that a thunderstorm can really help nature because the rain drops help hydrate and nourish the plants.According to google the poem “storm ending” by jean toomer is about inspiring the power of nature. In my opinion this poem shows collaboration because nikki grimes collaborated with jean toomer so jean toomer's poem about nature can be in her book.My analyst of this poem is that the author of this poem was trying to say that bad things happen but good thing will come.
