Firstly, general Zaroff has a very attractive and compelling presence which masks his evil nature. After Rainsford knocks on the door and it opens general Zaroff immediately shakes Rainsford’s hand to make him feel welcome. At first general Zaroff seems like a kind, intelligent and pleasant man. The narrator says, “Rainsford’s first impression was that the man was singularly handsome; his second was that there was an original, almost bizarre quality about the general’s face” (Connell 4). This statement indicates that since the general was very handsome it makes Rainsford feel very welcome.

The Crux of The Crucible In life there aren 't many things that are certain. The one thing that you can always count on is the ever precedent flaws of man. The characters, and the actual people they are designed after, in Arthur Miller’s play, The Crucible, show us what we as humans are like at our worst. Miller, creator of the movie and play, “The Crucible” made a story based on the true events of what happened in Salem during the years of 1692 to 1693. The book follows a set of about five characters.

The setting of The Crucible was in Salem were Reverend Parris catches a group of girls, including his niece Betty and servant Tituba in the forest dancing around a fire chanting. After the group of girls get caught Betty ends up sick, When Parris finds out, the rumor of witchcraft arises. Parris is mainly focused on his reputation, The group of girls consisted of Abigail Williams, Betty Parris, Tituba, and Susanna Walcott.

Black and White, a novel written by Paul Volponi, tells the story of two teenagers by the name of Marcus and Eddie. Marcus, who is black, lives on the rough side of town, while Eddie, who is white, lives on the nice side of town. Despite their differences in looks and social class, the two quickly become the best of friends. The two are inseparable, they share love for basketball and are teammates on the high school squad. Their brotherly bond has earned them the nicknames, Black And White.
The late, Louis Pojman, was a great American philosopher, who was known for his many writings such as A Defense of the Death Penalty. The death penalty has always been a very touchy subject for most people. People have their views of what they consider right or wrong. Philosopher Pojman was pro-death penalty, so naturally he had some who agreed with him and some that did not. As I read the “Best Bet” argument my opinion of murderers is that they deserve to be killed for their horrid actions.

It was the main method of execution in France was this way. It was used for many reasons, people saw it as fascinating, people were viewed as celebrities who ran the execution, and how it works and why were people sent here. So it was supposedly the best way to execute people.
Time management has been one of the most substantial hurdles of my scholastic and professional career. Many of us waste our time on things that are neither important nor necessary, instead of using that time for something of that is meaningful. To capitalize on the use of time management strategies and reach my Doctoral Business Administration (DBA) program goals. I will execute two specific time management strategies, for example, accessing and planning a weekly schedule while adjusting my daily schedule. Time management will help me maximize the use of my time and reach my ultimate DBA goals of completing each assignment.

Time management: Time management is a very crucial component if you are willing to have a productive lifestyle. To be honest, I have always had issues with managing my time efficiently. This problem had become a huge obstacle once I got into college. Thus, attending a lecture that focuses on time management helped me a lot with this problem by introducing me to different aspects related to time management: planning, SMART goals, and important/urgent matrix. Learning to make a specific plan for my daily tasks and make a to-do list to make my day as productive as possible is something very helpful which was advised to me by the instructor of this lecture Mr. Irfan.
