My analyst of this poem is that the author of this poem was trying to say that bad things happen but good thing will come.
In this piece they’re seen as the people you don't want to be, unsuccessful, obsolete and vulgar. The poet is writing to be the opposite of these low-lifes and to live your life out to the full potential, Though in the beginning being pessimistic the poem has an overall optimistic tone. Another way optimism is displayed in this poem is towards the end when the poet writes that you shouldn't “Live not for battles won.” (10), or “Live not for the-end-of-the-song.” (11), but to “Live in the along.”
In the poem, the author uses really strong words with strong meanings. In the poem, it states, “They become part of the map marking the pain we’ve had to endure.” This poem expresses the poet’s way of feeling, he talks
Nothing gold can stay.” This poem helps support the theme of innocence because in first verse of the poem, it describes how when you are first born, you are innocent, and have a fresh start in life. But, as you get older, many make horrible decisions that lead them to regret, and have that feeling of deep sorrow and pain. But “Then leaf subsides to leaf. So Eden sank to grief, So dawn goes down to day.”
The poem takes the perspective of a confused fourteen year old girl in school, who is saying goodbye to her best friend. Without a reason the speaker's best friend turns on her because of the recent
Through the words reflecting melancholy and sorrow, we can sense the narrator's self destruction due to the death of the woman he loved. As one examines the figurative language of the poem, one finds that its form and
(Sandomir, Richard). The deeper meaning of this poem is not to push people too far and not to hold such high standards for yourself. The student's death was caused by her parents because they made her feel like she wasn’t good enough and that caused her to be a perfectionist and she lost her happiness.
The meaning of the poem, Quite Frankly by Mark Halliday, is that death has no value compared to all the lasting memories in life. This is supported throughout the poem with quotes and tones. In the first stanza, it discusses the deaths having little meaning, the second stanza has a satisfied tone, and the fourth stanza is to the point. Throughout the poem it supports the idea of death having no meaning compared to their memories.
In that poem there are lots of them,es and life messages that are used. In the poem Robert Frost states "Nothing Gold Can Stay" which means nobody in the world can stay innocent forever. An example of this that is in "The Outsiders" is when Johnny killed a soc than ran away with Pony. By the way that in the novel after Johnny kills the soc he states " I killed that boy, I killed him".
This poem also deals with losing hope, even though the narrator has no right to even have the small amount. This poem deals with his dead leave Lenore, and how the raven torments him into insanity. To start off Edgar Allan Poe has communicated his thesis through the use of abstract language and connotation. this abstract phrase which is repeated throughout the poem is the word ‘nevermore’, combined with different phrases depending on each stanza. This word can have countless
“He tried to kill himself in grade ten when a kid who could still go home to mom and dad had the audacity to tell him; / Get over it.” (lines 54-56) The poet makes it known that the poem is not told in a happy mood nor can it be. The poet also includes different life tragedies and

“Desiring naught but how to kill desire.” The poet speaks as if he wants to kill desire, giving it yet another anthropological attribute. This shows that the poet believes that the only desire one should have is to rid oneself of desire, but since this desire is through morality, the goal can be accomplished, and one will eventually emerge from the blinding cloud and be released from “web of will” that is
In the first stanza, we can already see how this poem can relate to the world today and how we feel about certain things. We as humans don't like change. Sometimes, we want something to happen so bad, that we don't consider how our life might change if this wish, this hope of something, actually happened. We sometimes may want something so bad, but fear what the consequences might be if something goes
He also related to the deeper meanings of perseverance in finding the difficulty from an adventure even with time and the infinite impossibility. While working at something that’s impossible, the poem ends with the emotional imagery of a knight reminded that the quest is not always able to fulfill, no matter what we
