In the book, Ender’s Game by Orson Scott Card, Ender got bullied by multiple kids. He ended up getting in many fights that resulted in the bullies being dead. Before I started reading, I had thought that bullies didn’t always deserve what they got. After reading, I still strongly agree with this statement. When Ender was boarding a bus, another boy named Stilson had initiated a fight between the two of them. This fight had had resulted in Stilson dying, but Ender didn’t know this until later in the book. Although Stilson had been giving Ender a hard time, I don’t think that he deserved to die. I believe a severe punishment would have been better for this situation. Ender also should have received a punishment as well because he did take the fight farther than it had to go. While Ender was in the shower room, Bonzo and his friends barged in ready for a fight. Bonzo attacked Ender, but Ender slipped away and began brutally fighting Bonzo in return. As he did with Stilson, Ender took this fight way to far, and ended up killing Bonzo. In my opinion, Bonzo should not have started such a savage fight with Ender, but should not have died as a result. Later on, Ender had said that he didn’t mean to kill Bonzo and that he had thought he was a monster. I believe that Ender had realised that he was taking these fights way to far and needed to be
