The news release is about a vegan event situated in Manchester in April 2018. The event is for vegans and “not-yet-vegans” to learn “how to live a companionate lifestyle and how to cook delicious plant based meals”. The release states what will be happening throughout each day at the event, making it clear to the reader what they will be expecting if they are to attend. The content is of a much bigger scale because it is a website, the directors are able to use a lot more content to reach a wider audience. The purpose of this text is to entertain; readers want to be entertained by each newsletter, story, fact and recipe that VegNews publish. The website shines a positive light on veganism and only speaks on the good aspects of the topic. This is a comparison after discussing the blog post, as the blog post’s message was to tell their audience that a vegan diet is not always the right diet. The texts above included why veganism can be negative as well as a positive. This is because VegNews is bias towards veganism. The website is trying to influence the reader that
