“China went through major changes in belief system.” Three major religions which made up Ancient China’s history were Confucianism, Daoism and Buddhism. First, Confucius, the leader of Confucianism was born in 551 BC. Confucius taught that people could advance in life through education.Likewise, some of the key factor Confucianism focused on were the ways that people should behave and live.The religions also taught that honor and morality were important qualities.Around AD 200, however, Confucianism began to lose its influence as the Han Dynasty lost power.
