Ed knows everything about the people of Mayberry and this raises suspicion and freaks a few people out. In the Monsters are Due on Maple Street aliens try to take over Maple Street by shutting of the power, making cars not run and cutting the portable radio signal, but nobody knows aliens are controlling these things. Then, a little boy Tommy put a hair raising thought into everyone’s head by telling the what he read in a comic book about how aliens disguised themselves as humans. This scares everyone and people start accusing one another. But despite the differences or similarities both pieces bring a good lesson.
