Should animals really have their own bill of rights? Are animals really that much of human like that they should have their own bill of rights? There is a slippery slope to those questions most people think twice on what they say because there are pros and cons to giving animals rights. Animals can not even speak to say what they want or what they do not want. Animal bill of rights is basically protection of cruelty and not treating animals wrong.
In my opinion i think that animals should not have bill of rights for the simple fact that they can not even speak to say what they want or do not want. They should not be get beaten to death or anything like that i do not agree with death to animals but i just don’t think they should be given rights. I feel like the little rats and stuff those should definitely have no typeof bill of rights because they reproduce so fast and they are so nasty.
The reason why i think that only some animals should have rights is because some animals do us justice and make us happy. Like a dog thats a mans best friend and so many people are attached to dogs and if they keep killing dogs people are going to get really emotional. I think it would because you are giving these animals rights and now that you are giving them rights its is kinda hard to even say that there will still be meat available because you just gave them the bill of rights so now you can not slaughter them because they have rights so where would people even get their meat from? So with that being said they should not be given rights because that will make meat markets go low then companies and farmers would stop making money and that can just cause a lot of commotion. So that would be a question that no one could answer until the time comes to see if they stop serving meat or the prices will go
