The text “ Animal Farm” by George Orwell have many differentiations that vary from the film called by the same name “Animal Farm”. As one may notice the difference one in the text is that the narrator is just the author, while in the film the narrator is Jessie. Another difference one may notice is that in the film Clover does not appear, but in the text Clover is described as one of the pigs’ most loyal disciple, and is always with Boxer. Additionally, readers and viewers may see that in the end, the farm had a new owner in the film, however in the text the ending was tragical. Just as there is a pretty slight difference in the film Animal Farm (which is an adaption of the text by Orwell, named by the same title). For instance, when in the text Clover is described as one of the pigs’ (Napoleon, Snowball, and Squealer) most devoted disciple (the other trustworthy disciple is Boxer of course). It was also said on the text that Clover (and Boxer) was one of the animals that although had great difficulty in thinking anything out for herself, absorbed everything that the pigs told her, and passed it on to the other animals. She is one of the animals that is mentioned frequently on the text. For example, when the horse slaughterer was taking Boxer away, she was one of the animals that were shouting to Boxer to get out of the truck (along with Benjamin, etc). She was also one of the animals that were taking care of Boxer for the period of time he was sick until the horse slaughterer went to take him away (in the text). While in the film the one who replaces Clover is Jessie who is not mentioned often in the text. As one may see this change makes a conflict in which the readers may get confused while watching the
