Animal Farm

The main theme of the book, Animal Farm would be to put all your trust in your leaders and work diligently even through trials and tribulations. I believe that part of the theme involving working diligently is in agreement with the Bible, but I do not believe that putting all your trust in your leaders is in agreement with the Bible because not all men are wise, and are capable of being tempted to take advantage of their power given to them. The main theme of the book was to put all your trust in your leaders and work diligently. An example of putting trust in your leader would be when the animals believe in the vision Old Major had for them to rebel and eventually own Manor Farm. Another example would be when Napoleon was in charge and kept reassuring the animals why all the decisions he made were acceptable, even though some of those choices were not wise. A last example of working diligently would be when Boxer was badly injured yet he continued to work hard till the very end.
Being diligent through trials and tribulations in in agreement with the Bible. In

God says to obey your leaders, but not false leaders. In 1 Timothy it says, ..”such teaching come forth from false words of liars whose consequences are destroyed as if by a hot iron.” Leaders can be tempted to take advantage of their power. A good example of that would be when Saul heard that Jonathan defeated an army in battle.
