Anne Frank was born on June 12th, 1929 and died on March 12th, 1945. She was one of the many young witnesses who died in the holocaust that have been known by many people. Anne Frank once said, “No one has ever become poor by giving.” (Frank) This quote from Anne Frank shows that she had a kind heart that cares for others around her. But on the other hand, the world has more problems with climate change, diseases, and natural disasters such as the earthquake and tsunami that hit Japan on March 11th, 2011 where 20000 people were killed. The tectonic plates were lifted 30 feet above its natural position due to the earthquake. Buildings and houses collapsed rapidly as the tsunami hit them and pushed them to the sewage. (Tschakert) No one knows when and where natural disasters will occur. Therefore, learning safety rules to use in a natural disaster may save your life. Most crises are caused by humans. Therefore, it would be totally possible if humans could reverse what they are presently doing. For example, people could stop poaching rhinos for their horns or killing sharks for their fins to prevent them from being extinct. In 2011, South Africans poached 448 rhinos for their horns and as of mid-2012, over 300 have been poached. (Tictoc) Shark finning is killing sharks every year at an alarming rate. It is estimated that 100 to 200 million sharks annually are killed for their fins alone. (Friends) All of these shark fins are to make bowls of shark fin soup just for humans to devour. Why kill so many different animals until they go extinct when humans can wait for them to breed and kill the parents when they’re old and are about to die soon. As a matter of fact, this method could help the Homo sapiens survive for an extremely long time. Global warming is created by people, too. Global warming is primarily a problem of too much carbon dioxide, (CO2) in the atmosphere. (Scientists) Deforestation is one of the many ways that cause global warming. Deforestation means cutting down trees in the forests and on land. Trees take in carbon dioxide from the air to produce oxygen for the planet. Pollution is another cause of global warming. Pollution is the smoke that is released by vehicles which run on fuel. Pollution is also the
