The HPI focuses on three main areas which are well-being, life expectancy and ecological footprint which shows to what extent it will produce long, happy and sustainable lives for the people that live in them. All of Costa Rica’s electricity is generated from clean energy sources like water and wind (and even volcanoes), while as much as 40 percent of its land is protected by law from development. This article helps to establish how their ability to operate in such a green, efficient and sustainable manner plays a vital role in how well they are able to conduct business on the global
