Introduction
Partner violence is almost exclusively of heterosexual partners, however there is very limited information about prevalence and incidence of partner violence in the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered communities. There is a growing evidence to suggests that same-gender partner violence is more common as heterosexual partner violence (Farley, 1996; Renzetti, 1992).
