In USA Today’s article by Sandra Block and Christine Dugas titled “Five Proposals to Solve $1 Trillion College Loan Crisis,” the authors mention five ways to solve the student debt crisis in America, illustrating things like Bankruptcy reform, loan forgiveness, increasing federal pell grants, and the education of borrowers. Evaluating this article, it provides an informative view on the solution of student debt, and overall expresses many different spectrums on ways we can solve this social problem. It is apparent that this article has a very similar message then the others, even almost the same exact message given in most of the other sources.
Mulhere, Kaitlin. "Climb Out of Student Debt." Academic Search Premier [EBSCO]. N.p., n.d. Web. 3 Dec. 2016. In Kaitlin Mulhere’s article titled “Climb Out of Student Debt, she provides information on student debt repayment plans for people who are in debt and have student loans. It mentions concepts including how to reduce monthly outlay, and how to refinance with someone privately in order to get a lower interest rate when taking on a loan. Evaluating this article, it is very informative and helpful in helping one who is in debt to individually find a solution. This article, although not focused on the entirety of this social problem, demonstrates a perspective of solution for an individual. Comparing this article with the others, it relates to the article shown above, however; focuses more on how the individual can help their debt rather than how to solve the student debt crisis all throughout
