There are plenty of effects of anxiety that people may feel. As shown, the most commonly effects are depression, anger and being an introvert. In the play, Parris reacted angrily due to the fact that he was scared of having witchcraft around since it will cause his people to drive him out of town. Throughout the play many people reacted to witchcraft with agression which caused a mass hysteria, and countless executions and hangings.
