The aerospace engineering in Texas A&M has a vast field of exploration leading to advance technology in space exploration, air transportation, national defense, communication and sustainable energy. The student speaker in the video was proud of their field and were satisfied with the job. Everybody wants a job that makes them happy and that is exciting and enjoyable. The advance technology studies in aerospace engineering are an interesting filed as the technologyis growing day by day and more advance technology will be develop and astound the world. Who knows in 2 or 3 years we will have a flying car and bike?
In the AP essay, Kevin has a well-developed paper consisting of sentence variety, proper identification of rhetorical strategies, analysis, and numerous supporting examples. Kevin displays sentence variety as he introduces his paper. He never starts his sentences with the same words. His use of sentence variety makes his paper smoother to read, and displays a more advanced writing style. Additionally, Kevin follows the prompt’s directions and “effectively analyzes the rhetorical strategies Adams uses to advise her son,” (College Board).
Frank Rich maintains a critical tone throughout the entire article. His use of short sentences such as “Actually, no. People don’t change” and the word “minions” to describe Hilary Clinton in the first section shows his discontent with the candidate. Rich continues his critical tone as he discusses the other candidates. The use of words such as “bigoted”, “cowering”, and “off-the-wall” show that Rich is angry at the majority of the candidates.
I have chosen this article because the tittle seems very enticing. I want to know deeper information on how we can read people’s thoughts just by looking at them. I am also interested with the psychological issue so I decided to read and learn through this article. 4. Explain briefly in four or five sentences what the article is about.
Speeches are used to commemorate points of history, and inform the general public of the product of their history but what makes a speech so impacting on it’s audience? Rhetorical devices give speeches and works of literature a way that can convey feelings or ideas to a viewer. When addressing during times of war or chaos, people such as Ronald Reagan, Abraham Lincoln, and Winston Churchill used these terms to better connect with their audience. Without these tools of the english language, dialogue and literature would be all the more dull and unappealing. However, with these useful instruments, writers and speakers can better communicate through some of the many rhetorical devices.

Passage 2 is trying to prove that this can be good or bad but basically saying beneficial. Passage 1 is correct if you ask me. On October 15th, 2016 Austin Community College’s Department of History and the Diversion of Social and Behavioral Sciences created a history symposium. This symposium consisted of 2 speakers, Theresa Jach and Kemp Dixon, who spoke about convict leasing and the law east of the Pecos. Throughout Theresa’s speech she showed us the similarities between convict leasing and slavery in the early years of American history. She reminds us that while slavery has been abolished, the enslavement of individuals who have been convicted of a crime is still legal and allows the state to have the opportunity to make a profit off of keeping correction facilities full. Past leaders such as Andrew Jackson, Adolf Hitler, Benito Mussolini, and Marc Antony are evidence that society does not reward morality and good character in leadership. Society is drawn to leaders that have good rhetoric, propaganda, and charismatic personalities, and society supports them despite their immorality. Society is concerned about stability more than the morality of their leaders and will support immoral leaders in times of crisis to provide stability. In history there have been multiple leaders that have used rhetoric, propaganda and charismatic personalities to gain power, despite their morals.
A major theme in A&P is personal freedom. Throughout the story Updike uses metaphor for all elements in the story to implies the theme. At the beginning of the story, Sammy uses sarcastic tone to describe the customers as “sheep” and “houseslaves” which implies he is different from them in mindset. The way how Sammy talks about others shows his intellectual mind. He is not same as Stokesie who wants to be a manager one day.
Out of all my papers, my best grade was on the rhetorical analysis paper. It was nearly perfect. From Professor Short’s feedback on m previous paper, I fixed my work cited page and in text cites. During peer review, my peer told me to go into a bit more detail. I did not take her advice and left my paragraphs as detailed as they were.
The Rhetorical Analysis Paper was a challenging paper to write for me, but I believe that it was only difficult because this is my first paper that I have ever written of this style. Despite this I think that I did a good job on this paper; I tried to follow the rubric as I wrote. I believe that I clearly articulated the two aspects of the advertisement that I focused on and how they worked together to convey the bigger picture; however, I did still have some concerns. My biggest concern initially was how to develop a good thesis for this genre of writing since I have never written on this topic before, but I believe I got that issue straightened out.
