The Ming and Qing empire was successful, advanced and had power. They had outstanding wealth, A luminous reputation and superior satisfaction. They were very educated and advanced in their agriculture. The strategies and actions they took are what made them the greatest empire. A civilization like Ming and Qing must have power to achieve greatness. They were very powerful and the greatest of their time because their Economy flourished. The main economic increase was when Qing overthrew the Ming. their economy stayed very well balanced because of their trade and mining for silver boosted the trade and economy significantly. They relied on old traditions a lot and took in other people's traditions as they expanded. Ming was the an empire and ruled for three centuries but eventually became corrupt and the chinese looked at this as weakness. From this they lost the traditional right to govern. In 1644 the Manchus came and the Chinese viewed them as barbarians. The Manchus had been very influenced by the Chinese culture and took in many of their customs. They then started doing policies to have some power. However they held up classical art and literature for artistic expression. They also had and made many temples, shrines and tombs. And they had many paintings, porcelain, rugs and lacquer carvings. They ate lots of cultural food which they ate at festivals and holidays. Some of the festivals they had was the traditional Mingqing festival which usually occurred on April 5. They provided lots of food and everyone celebrated. This all influenced the Ming and Qing empire greatly and even influenced modern day
