NASA actually went to the Moon SIX TIMES. There would have been absolutely no reason to continue the hoax after the first landing. Why take the risk? They could have simply said that the spaceflights are way too risky and expensive, with no real advantages. Nobody would have questioned these motives.
Neil Armstrong is most known for his incredible moon landing in 1969 July 20th. He and his crew were the first American team to successfully land on the moon. There was a lot of pressure for him to land on the moon safely and successfully. Because of all the conflict involving communism and the Soviet Union JFK felt it was very vital for this mission to work. Luckily it did and it was one of the most memorable events in American history.
The moon landing mission housed a great accomplishment for the world. They burst through the glass that separated space and soil. The three authors are all well known publishers and writers. Authors all over the world found these pieces effective and reliable.

My three reasons are John Fitzgerald Kennedy’s dream, first trip to the moon that was accomplished, and changing the world. John Fitzgerald Kennedy or John F. Kennedy had a dream, on May 25, 1961 John F. Kennedy proposed that the United States accelerate it's space program and set as a national goal a manned lunar landing and safe return by the end of the decade. Wow that is a huge honor.
Apollo was the Greek god of light whom was son of Zeus and Leto. Apollo was born on an island called Delos, Mikonos, Greece. When he was a baby they would say that he immediately transformed into a man. Apollo was the twin brother of Artemis, goddess of chastity. Apollo was possibly one of the most loved Greek God.
The lunar effect has been a controversy for millions of years. In fact, " no celestial object has inspired more myth and legend than the full moon"(Newton). This shows why the lunar effect has been very controversial. Some reasons that cause the controversy of the lunar effect are the over-reliance of anecdotes instead of scientific evidence, as well as the exaggeration of the media, and the general publics inability to define the lunar effect. Their ability to express their minds in a non- violent way connects to the soul music that James Brown created. James Brown’s music was a mixture of R&B and gospel. Which in a way connects to what Dr. Martin Luther King was trying to do during the civil rights movement.
The moon landing is a defining moment in American history that will forever unite the country together. For numerous reasons, the importance of sending a man onto the moon was stressed by supporters. The U.S. believed that it in order to keep its position as a world leader, it was vital to beat the Soviet Union to the moon. A man on the moon would help aid the U.S. with new discoveries of extremely useful information about the moon. Information more valuable than a satellite could ever obtain (Space Race).
The colonization of the moon is a step in which must be taken before the colonization of Mars is even feasible. This is due to the fact that the moon would be a cheaper colony that would set the foundation for colonizing a much tougher landmass, like Mars. An advocate of this belief is Nasa’s planetary scientist Chris Mckay who had to say the following on the topic of Moon colonization, “My interest is not the moon. To me the moon is as dull as a ball of concrete, but we're not going to have a research base on Mars until we can learn how to do it on the Moon first. The moon provides a blueprint to Mars.”
Would communications systems work on the Moon? Would other factors--geology, geography, radiation, etc.--affect the astronauts? About their significance. “Fundamental to the conspiracy theory is our supposed inability to go to the Moon. The rockets that made the moon landing possible were based upon the principles that were founded by Isaac Newton centuries ago, meaning that the underlying science was already there.
