The geography of Athens was more favorable than that of any other Greek city-state. Athens was the largest of the Greek city-states and had the most fertile land. It was also situated near the Aegean Sea, so it was great for long-distance trading.
Government of Arcania Arcania was born right after the Peloponnesian War in Sparta. The Arcanians were captured in 443 B.C. by Sparta and were subsequently made slaves of Sparta. Sparta was so weakened after they won the war with Athens that the Arcanians lead a revolt against Sparta and won their freedom in the year 371 B.C. . The revolt was lead by an Arcanian man named Lucian Spiro at the age of 17. After regaining their freedom, Lucian brought the Arcanians to Athens and conquered them. Once

The Arcanians managed to be the first to build ships covered in bronze armor. This gave them a great advantage in sea warfare, but the ships did not only serve this purpose. They were also used to trade large amounts of crops, gems, and spices etc. Metals such as tin and and copper were in short supply so this was what they mostly traded these items for. Without access to these materials Arcania would crumble.
Arcanian Culture Since Arcania was located in Greece they believed in the Greek gods. The Arcanians believed that their leader Lucian Spiro was a son of Poseidon since he was exceptionally skilled at winning battles overseas. Lucian Spiro kept the culture of the Arcanians the same as the Athenians. The Arcanians valued education and wisdom. They believed in Mt.Olympus and that when a person dies they are given a chance to prove themselves as being suitable to live there along with all the gods. During their golden age, Arcania produced many works of literature based around the principle of what happens to a person after they die. Arcania produced many different philosophies and ways for a person to live their life. Lucian commanded the creation of many theatres and places of recreation for the Arcanians. This later influenced Rome to do the
