Hurston expresses culture and racial pride while overlooks the differences between ‘whites’ and ‘colored’ and introduces her unique individual identity as a colored woman. Both planets have a variety of species living in coexistence, using the natural resources to thrive in their habitat. By comparing the animals and vegetation of both planets, both have anatomical similarities, but on Pandora the species have slight adaptations to live in their environment. Animals on Pandora have a form of gills giving the ability to breathe in the planet’s air source, and they have different bone structures than animals on Earth while still bearing a close resemblance to many of our animals.
The direct and indirect characterization of Doodle shows the cruelty and how much the mentally handicapped were neglected in the time of the text in the story “The Scarlet Ibis”. Quasimodo’s disability is known as ‘kyphosis’, this is a state where the upper back has severe curvature. Quasimodo however would specifically suffer from congenital kyphosis as his spine would of malformed while he was still in the womb of his mother.
Ectomorphs are known to have certain qualities that many people would attribute to their body shape. Some of those qualities may include that ectomorphs tend to be private, meaning that they like to keep to themselves. It is also believed that ectomorphs go through mood swings. Due to nervous system problems, it is said to make ectomorphs more prone to emotional disorders. Ectomorphs tend to be weak due to their inability to gain weight and muscle.
