Duck hunting is timeless. When in the field there are no clocks and calendars so you don't care what day or even what year it is. "Aunt Betty". To me duck hunting is different than what other people see. It’s one of those things you have to try before you can judge. Like most people I didn’t think I would like it the first time, but I sure am glad my Dad made me keep coming. Cause now I have a bond with it. However, the type of hunting I am used to has will will continue to be changed by technology. The internet has changed how we hunt. According to Grossman, some hunting can even be done just over the internet. Literally, you can sit at home away from to animal and pull the trigger. People have completely change the concept with this. Now it is way easier to hunt. You can control the aim and put the scope where it needs to be from home. This type of hunting should be illegal. It is unfair to let the internet do it for you.

Although people can learn a lot about hunting by watching YouTube videos or going to other hunting sites, it’s not technology that makes hunting what it is; it is the relationships and fun people can have. For instance, people can learn how to mallard call, wood duck call, teal call, and get better with a goose call, but they can also learn these things from their dad or friends. It really doesn’t matter if you get anything or not. It is so much fun being out in the woods away from civilization. I would know when I went out on my first bow hunt. I wasn’t mentally prepared. I was thinking what I could do to get better once I missed my shot. Sure enough a deer comes 20 yards away ,and I sling an arrow right into her lungs.Me and my dad went crazy.
